Job description:

Our client, one of leading international Schools in Cairo, have an exciting opportunity for a Key Stage 2 Teacher with an up to date knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.

The successful candidate will be a committed enthusiastic teacher with experience of teaching KS2 in the UK,.

You will take on all aspects of the daily management of the class with the assistance of a co teacher and be responsible for planning, assessment and recording of progress to parents for Literacy, Numeracy, Science, Humanities and PSHE. Art, ICT, PE and MFL are taught by specialist staff and there is a an Arabic Studies Department that delivers the approved Egyptian Ministry curriculum.

In addition class teachers are expected to contribute to the Extra Curricular Activities progamme and to lead and prepare their Class’s contributions to the KS2 Assembly Rota

The successful candidate will have:

  • Year 2 or 3 experience/or desire to work in lower Primary age range
  • Up to date knowledge of KS2
  • UK teaching experience
  • The ability to communicate at all levels

In addition it would be beneficial if you:

  • Were culturally aware and sensitive
  • Creative and flexible
  • A good sense of humour
